SOCIAL EVENT and Community Service Project

For our social event AND community service project, we are partnering with Compassion in Action - a nonprofit whose mission is to provide hands-on community service opportunities for kids. We invite all of our elementary age swimmers to join us on Tuesday, June 10th in the lower clubhouse. Each swimmer will get to make two easy crafts and then pack one Chemotherapy Care Bag for patients currently undergoing treatment.

Pre-registration is required so we can make sure we have enough supplies and volunteers. Please bring $1 donation per swimmer to participate. To help with space limitations, we have divided the project into two shifts.

Please only register for and attend one time slot. The deadline to sign up is THIS Friday, June 6th. No drop-offs, please!

Wild Timber Team Extreme Week is a purpose-driven philanthropic week dedicated to supporting a selected charitable organization through fundraising efforts and hands-on community service projects.

This year WTTE has selected CURE Childhood Cancer, a local, Atlanta based organization dedicated to conquering childhood cancer through funding targeted research while supporting patients and their families. This mission was chosen due to its impact to our very own WTTE swim family, the Raifords. Funds raised this week will be donated to CURE in honor of Luke Raiford, one of our Tiny Timbers who has been diagnosed with Leukemia and is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment.
