Equipment
WTTE has a team suit and swim cap that we encourage all swimmers to wear at meets. Each child will receive a latex team cap with registration. We want to look unified as a team at all meets!
Suit styles are typically changed every other year. For the swim meets and pictures, each swimmer who does not already have a team suit from seasons past will need to purchase/have/wear a black swimsuit ("jammers" for boys or one-piece for girls). TYR and Speedo are popular brands. You can find these suits on Amazon or at SwimOutlet.com.
- For practices, any suit your child is comfortable wearing is great! It's best not to have skirts or other added trims on swimsuits.
- Goggles are always a good idea - and have a backup pair! They always seem to break just before a swimmer has to dive in!
- Swim caps are optional, but highly recommended for long hair. Swimmers will be provided with one latex cap, but you can also purchase additional latex caps or silicone caps if you'd like.
- Towels
- Swim bag - something to keep all the supplies in!
